First day of the New Year

I'm up. Granted, I woke up at 9:45 because I'm not used to staying up so late. I've eaten a breakfast sandwich and had some essential oils pumping through my bloodstream. And I'm really excited about the new year.

We didn't end up going to Palm Spring to celebrate last night. We actually just rented a movie (a really feel-bad one) and hung out with a friend. It was totally great. 

Today I'm in a bake-y mood. I think I'll make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. We're going to the beach in a few minutes so Conrad can surf. 

When we get back, we'll rearrange our furniture. May the new year bring good changes and good people into our lives!
