I have this awesome idea

I'm all over the place. Pink hair, green pants, matching nails, and a snowflake sweater in August? Help a girl out. But seriously, I can't wait to wear this outfit this fall.

I'm really insecure about it. I've got it all laid out in my head:

Host a blog conference and creative workshop.

I've got craft classes imagined, catering ideas, giveaways, blog lectures...

There would be photography. Business cards. Graphic design. Tips on monetizing. Networking. Creativity. Goodie bags. The works. But what if no one else thinks it's a good idea? What if only one person shows up? And it's my mother? Who doesn't blog?

So I figured, what better way to find out if people are interested than by asking? If I held a blog conference/networking event/creative workshop in San Diego, would you want to attend? Are you too far away? Would a conference/workshop be useful to you and your blog? What if it was two days long, one day for creative workshop, one day for blog conference? What classes would you like to see? Is it more convincing if I tell you there's a goody bag in it for you? And that it would be reasonably priced?

Do me a solid and place your vote in the comments. Also, if you're a San Diego blogger, let me know.

  3. I so love this idea. I feel like conferences sometimes need a little more authenticity - meaning it should be held and put together by bloggers! I think it's a great idea, but San Diego is unfortunately too far for me, I live in Virginia. But I still think you should do it! :)
