NAUTICAL BABY SHOWER

Some of the women I grew up with threw me this adorable shower on Saturday. All seashells, boats, and baby, complete with quiche and a yogurt bar. It's funny how friends and cute decor and presents and good food all add up to a really good time. Actually, not funny at all. Totally makes sense. The Boy sure has lots of people who love him. Someone made - MADE - the cutest carseat cover I've ever seen. It's navy and white chevron duck fabric (duck, as in the type of fabric, not the bird) with navy and white polka dot on the other side. All I could think about for the rest of the day was how I need to rush out and buy a carseat to put it on. People gave toys, clothes, bathtime gear, and chocolate (for my postpartum needs). So filled with gratitude!
