THE VENTURES ON MY MIND

Oh man. This post has been clinking around in my brain for a few months, causing all kinds of mayhem and chipping paint off the walls of my head. I had intended to vent about the ideas - about five of them - that I had been stewing over and considering how to bring them to life.

I always seem to have ideas. Ways to make money. Things to make. Ways to serve people. Places we should visit. Poems and stories and songs that just need to be written. This particular post was going to be of the "ways to make money" variety. I'm keeping in theme with that, but instead of telling you all my dirty secrets and all the ideas I've been thinking about, I'm taking it another direction, and giving you a heads up.

I had an idea and I thought it was a really good one. I scoured the internet for something similar, and found nothing, which means I came up with something relatively original. THIS NEVER HAPPENS. At least not to me. I tend to love what other people do and do them with a twist of my own, and in the end, it never really ends up feeling like my own. This time, it's all mine. Beginning to end, mine. Inspired by something that is very close and dear to me, and will hopefully have some sort of meaning for the world once I'm ready to show it off.

It's coming soon and I'm really excited about it. I've said that before and then my projects don't pan out, but I'm hoping this one comes to fruition. Sometimes, you calculate the end costs and it just isn't worth it. Sometimes, inspiration is fleeting. And then, as in this case, sometimes, you find something that just fits. Inspiration is solid, costs are low, and importance and relevance are significant. I hope you love it as much as I do!
