Tis the season to be thankful

Today was fast Sunday. Which means it was testimony meeting. Which means that there would normally be an abundance of awkward pokes being exchanged between my husband and myself. But today, everyone, kept cool and actually discussed their testimonies. Even the awesome old lady with blue hair (you know, the one who gets 3/4 of an inch away from your face when speaking and uses her outside voice all the time because her hearing aids no longer aid...every ward has one).

I'm thankful for great parents. Including my in-laws, who really treat me like I've always been part of the family. We were watching some of Conrad's family's home videos of when the kids were younger, and it made me so happy that all of our siblings have grown up in close, loving homes. Raising our family will be 1000 times easier and more fun because of our families.

I'm also thankful that we have video cameras. Some of the funniest things EVER would go unremembered if we didn't have the technology to record them. Like my first peanut reaction, my sister's chapped lips (aka chapped face), or my sister in-law's hilarious clogging mishaps/public nose picking (no names). My sister and me some time around Easter.

One of my favorite photos of my mom and me:

Me when I was born:

I love that we have the ability to capture such moments with our loved ones.

The third thing I'm thankful for is a good pair of jeans. And, of course, a good bra. Two things every girl should have, two things most girls don't have. Well-fitting garments are really a luxury.
