Free as a bird

Being limited in the [broken] wallet department, I've had to pick up some thrift skills. Obviously, thrift stores can sometimes be gold mines. Other times, yard sales.

Here are some things around my house that I've gotten for free or very little.

A giant stack of cookbooks (free)

Ninners and all his stuff ($50, Craigslist)

About 30 lbs of raw red wheat kernels (free), and the dining room table (free)

Hutch (free, in-laws)
