US LATELY

One day last week, we had a "dirty day." For those of you who are unfamiliar, a "dirty day" is a day where your baby manages to get a little bit of every bodily fluid on you (milk, pee, spit up, boogers, and poop), and you don't have time to change or shower until the very end of the day. The upside is, once your shirt is totally dirty, you can snuggle your naked, dimple-butted baby without worry that he'll ruin your clothes - they're already ruined! [I try to be modest with the amount of bare-bottom pics of Henry that I post, but I couldn't resist this one]

Saturday, we went to the Mormon Battalion parade and festival with Conrad's sister Claire and her husband Kenny. We didn't actually end up doing anything Mormon-Battalion-related, but we got some amazing Mexican food where Henny danced on the table to the music of the live mariachi band, and then we walked around the little street fair and Historic Old Town. We saw these beautiful Mexican (probably China-made) blankets, and each got one. Perfect for park and beach days!

Later that night we went to dinner at some friends' house, and there were a few other couples there. We laid our babes down on a blanket and snapped some pictures, and my silly, serious boy just couldn't be bothered with it all. Those other two little boys are shorter but much fatter than Henry. He's long and lean like his dad.

I've started another project (buying the fabric is starting, right?) for my 25 Projects challenge! I probably won't be finished with it until March, but I can't wait to show more!
