I've noticed that there are lots of new readers 'round these parts, and I thought I'd extend a welcome and tell you a little about myself! Whether you're a new reader or a long-time reader, this post is for you! Leave a comment and tell me about yourself!

I'm Tess Frame, The Framed Lady. Here's why the blog is called The Framed Lady. I live in San Diego with my husband, Conrad. He's the greatest.
I'm about 7 1/2 months pregnant with our first baby, a boy, and we're doing lots of stuff to get ready! I've been doing lots of nesting, like painting our bedroom, renovating an old piece of furniture, and even remodeling our kitchen (I'm crazy)! I'm obsessed with good food. Good, not necessarily gourmet. Sometimes a bowl of chili is better than that pizza with hazelnuts and squid and arugula. I eat what I want to eat, and I'm unapologetic about it, particularly during pregnancy. I eat raw fish sushi - while pregnant. I drink caffeinated drinks - while pregnant. I eat a lot of red meat. My style is comfy-casual. I own a lot of black and grey things. I'm not much of a style blogger, so you won't have to worry about being confronted with too many boring outfits. I don't like intense exercise, driving too fast, or swimming in the ocean. I'm TERRIFIED of ocean creatures even if I know they won't hurt me. I'm a world traveler. I love planes and ships and cars and all other means of travel. I've been to China, Brazil, France (twice), Italy (twice), Belgium, The Netherlands, and more recently started exploring the awesome places the US has to offer, like several national parks (Yellowstone, Yosemite, Zion) and the South.

You can read lots more about me here.

Who are you?

  1. Seems like the perfect time for this. I blogged for a little over a year then took about a 9 month break while I was pregnant b/c it zapped all my energy. I am married have 3 boys, 6,3, and 2 months. I work full time as a preschool special ed teacher. Im hoping to get back into my blog as much as I was last year :) Hope to see you around :)

  2. This is such a good idea, I wish I was not running out the door!

    Sparkles and Shoes
Don't forget about the switch to BlogLovin!

  3. Fun! I've been following you long enough that I knew most of this stuff. But I don't always comment a ton because I spend a lot of time nursing my five month old boy. I also have a 2 year old girl. I'm a former high school teacher turned stay at home mom this year.

Hopefully when I have time to comment in the future, this information puts my word into a little bit of context :)
